Boffins Books is excited to be the official bookseller at the Concert Celebrating The Life & Art of Kathleen O'Connor with Amanda Curtin, award-winning author of Kathleen O’Connor of Paris.

Join Perth Symphony Orchestra for a special celebration of the life and art of Kathleen O'Connor "doyenne of Western Australian artists" who honed her craft in Paris in the 1920s. An experience to be remembered with the concert taking place in the heart of The Art Gallery of Western Australia.

The program for the evening will range from Debussy to Cole Porter and a little of the unexpected like John Butler. Featuring performances from Soprano, Emma Lee- Steere, the incomparable Paul Wright on Violin, and narration by Amanda Curtin, award-winning author of Kathleen O’Connor of Paris.

Perth Symphony will perform a selection of music inspired by her adventures in Paris, London, and Australia. Kathleen O’Connor, daughter of C.Y. O'Connor, defied all social expectations and reveled in the Parisian art world in the age of French Impressionism.
