Meet Author Danny Parker! Danny is the author of Lola's Toy Box, an exciting new series that follows Lola into her magical toy box where adventure awaits. This free event is to promote the August release of his new early-reader series that will enthrall young readers. When Lola is given an old toy box, she discovers it’s a magical passageway… To a world where toys come to life! Do teddy bears really have picnics? Are plastic toys really nastier than soft ones? Follow Lola and her trusty but rather wonky learn-to-dress clown, Buddy, on their adventures in the Kingdom, where toys live when they aren’t being played with in the real world.

Danny is the Director of Drama and Writer in Residence at Hale Boys School and a children's author. Tree, his first picture book, was nominated for WA Premier’s Litaracy Award in 2012, and Parachute shortlisted for CBCA’s 2014 Picture Book of the Year award.
