About Mick Malthouse
As a hard-hitting defender for St Kilda and Richmond, Mick Malthouse racked up 174 games, 8 finals appearances and, in 1980, a Grand Final victory with the Tigers.

But looking back, it seems like these achievements were all just warming up for Mick – a prelude to a coaching career which has confirmed him as nothing less than an AFL legend. Fifty finals appearances, eight Grand Finals and three Premiership victories speak for themselves of his staggering talents as a coach. Having just signed to Carlton, it's clear there are many more highlights to come.

About Christi Malthouse
Born into a famous AFL family, Christi Malthouse has made a name for herself as an AFL journalist. Having started out working in the Channel 7 and then Channel 10's Perth sports newsrooms, she graduated into a national role as an AFL boundary rider. She has hosted several AFL shows and segments and is part of Nine's Sunday Footy Show team. Malthouse: A Football Life is her first book.
