Luke Nguyen and Adriano Zumbo are heading to Perth to talk about their latest books in an East-meets-West event at Boffins, hosted by Perth chef and co-owner of Taste Budds Cooking Studio, Sophie Budd.
Luke Nguyen, of SBS fame, revisits his beloved Vietnam in his latest offering Indochine, to seek out the culinary and cultural remnants of the former French colonial empire. Adriano Zumbo, renowned for his dessert flair, has brought together his most famous recipes in his new book Zumbo, including his trademark macarons and the "V8" cake seen on MasterChef.
Nguyen and Zumbo, who are close friends away from the kitchen, will be bringing their very different styles to Perth in an "East meets West" event that will get to the heart of their passion for cooking, what inspires them to cook and their personal journeys through the culinary industry.
