Events Spring in the City - Jude Blereau

Spring in the City celebrations will begin at lunchtime on Monday 5 October with an appearance by Jude Blereau, one of Australia's pre-eminent organic and wholefood advocates. Jude will be showcasing some of her mouthwatering fares and signing copies of her books Wholefood and Coming Home to Eat.

To coincide with the annual Spring in the Valley celebrations, Perth's Boffins Bookshop is bringing Spring to the City. Commencing on Monday 5 October, five of Australia's leading chefs will appear at lunchtimes throughout the working week at Boffins. The week will feature four of WA's most celebrated local chefs - Jude Blereau, Emmanuel Mollois, Kate Lamont and Theo Kalogeracos - and the queen of Australian cooking, Stephanie Alexander. The culinary delights of each chef will be on show with samples of some of their signature dishes free to all who attend.

Jude Blereau is a natural foods chef, author, food coach, cooking teacher and real food activist who has been involved with the organic and wholefoods industry for more than 18 years. Her focus is on helping people learn about good food - what it truly is, where to get it, how to use it - and to give them the tools and information they need to make healthy eating a part of their everyday lives.
