Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Orders:

Q: What is Stock Availability?

A: Our Stock Availability enables you to make buying decisions based on the availability of items. The definitions of the terms we use are:

In Stock

'In Stock' means the book is available from our store for immediate shipment.

In Stock, On Order

'In Stock, On Order' means limited quantities of the book are available from our store for immediate shipment with more copies on order with the supplier. 'On Order' titles are regularly stocked and will be replenished ASAP. Average time to re-stock is 5 - 10 business days once the title is out of stock.

Not In Stock, On Order

'Not in Stock, On Order'  means the book is NOT available for immediate shipment due to a variety of reasons explained below, i.e.Temporarily Out of Stock or Not Yet Published.  Please email us for an up to date stock availability check from the supplier.

Temporarily Out of Stock: means the book is out of stock at our store, and has been ordered from the publisher or supplier. However, the publisher or supplier is unable to predict when they will have more copies in stock, but we hope to ship it to you within 4 to 12 weeks.

Special Order: refers to a book that may not be regularly stocked by us. While some of these books might be hard to find, others are more easily obtained. In some instances, it may take longer to locate this book for you than it would for a standard order, and the price is subject to change. We will contact you about the status of any special order you place with us.

Not Yet Published: means a book has not yet been printed. Books often have a publication date that may be a few months in advance of first printing. However, you can place advance orders for many-not-yet-published titles.
