Boffins is pleased to be the official bookseller of the 2014 ANZAED Conference. The conference of the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders brings clinicians and researchers together to update each other on the latest local and international developments in the field. It will be held at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Western Australia on 22-23 August, with pre-conference workshops on 21 August. Keynote speakers will be Dr Kelly Vitousek from the University of Hawaii and Professor Tracey Wade from Flinders university.
The conference will also include presentations by researchers & clinicians, plenary sessions on Binge Eating Disorder and body image, a choice of afternoon workshop options, poster presentations and opportunities for networking - including a conference breakfast and cocktail party. Pre-conference workshops will be on the use of behavioural experiments (Kelly Vitousek), prevention in schools (Tracey Wade) and on medical complications (Michael Kohn, Janice Russel & Terrill Bruere, chaired by Sue Martin).
