Events Lunch and book launch with elBulli’s Ferran Adrià

Dine with Ferran Adrià, the chef whose creative genius made a meal at his restaurant elBulli the most coveted culinary experience in the world.

Gastronomic mecca elBulli was awarded the title of best restaurant in the world five times, the inventiveness and breathtaking imagination of Ferran Adrià establishing its kitchen at the avant-garde of the food world. For six months of the year, Ferran and his team would retreat into the elBulli laboratory to research, to experiment, and to usher into existence utterly new techniques and dishes to amaze their guests over the following season.

You may have never made it to Catalonia to dine at elBulli, but here’s your chance to meet Ferran Adrià face to face and bring some of that magic to your own food – though you’ll have to hurry. Tickets to the Perth stop on Ferran Adrià's world tour are available but strictly limited and expected to go fast, so don’t dawdle if you want to meet the great man in the flesh.

After an in-conversation presentation and Q&A with Ferran, you'll have time to mingle over drinks and canapés before sitting down for an (optional, but highly recommended) three-course lunch. Ferran will be personally signing copies of his new seven-volume set elBulli 2005-2011 – a mammoth tome, containing every recipe from elBulli's last seven years of operation, that documents the creative evolution of the restaurant and the key discoveries, techniques and technologies that continually drove elBulli's cuisine forward.

The event will be hosted at Print Hall, one of Perth's most prominent new restaurants. Executive chef Shane Watson and the team at Print Hall will be showcasing to Ferran the finest food and wine WA has to offer with canapés, three exquisite courses and paired wines throughout.

Tickets are going fast, so get in early to guarantee your spot!
